Funding approved
for level 3 biosafety lab
The Board of Trustees budget committee approved funding for a biosafety level 2 and 3 laboratory at Langley and Crawford halls.
In a unanimous vote at its Dec. 17 meeting, the committee recommended that the full Board of Trustees approve the addition of $6 million ($3 million from Provost reserves and $3 million from Arts and Sciences reserves) for the project to the fiscal year 2011 capital budget.
The full board is scheduled to meet Feb. 25.
