Elected Senate members announced

Elected to Faculty Assembly and Senate Council for 2001-2004 were: Josephine L. Olson, of the Katz Graduate School of Business; John M. Close, dental medicine; Glenn M. Nelson, education; Michael J. Kolar, engineering; Francesca Savoia and John Twyning of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) humanities division; Frank Beatrous and Juan J. Manfredi, FAS natural sciences; Ann Jannetta, FAS social sciences; Paul J. Nelson, Graduate School of Public and International Affairs; Michael McCue, health and rehabilitation sciences; Alice B. Kuller, Health Sciences Library System; Toby O. Graham, medicine; Nancy C. Grove, nursing; Denise L. Howrie, pharmacy; Trevor J. Orchard, public health; Catherine G. Greeno, social work, and Elizabeth A. Evans, University Library System.

Members' terms begin July 1. New members serve the first year of their three-year terms on Faculty Assembly. During their second and third years, they serve on both the faculty-only Assembly and on Senate Council, which includes faculty, staff, students and administrators.
