Athletics offers tickets on-line
The athletics department has established an on-line service center that allows purchase of single-game football tickets for the six home games scheduled this fall at Heinz Field. The on-line center is accessible at www. pittsburghpanthers.com.
Plans for the web site include options for renewing season tickets and for purchasing single-game tickets for the upcoming men's basketball season. The site eventually will offer tickets to postseason events, including National Invitation Tournament basketball games or football bowl games.
Pitt opens the 2001 football season at Heinz Field Sept. 1 versus East Tennessee State. Other home games are South Florida (Sept. 8), Alabama-Birmingham (Sept. 15), Miami (Sept. 27), Syracuse (Oct. 13) and Virginia Tech (Nov. 3).
