Senate committee members elected

Election results for open faculty seats on the 15 University Senate standing committees have been announced.

Winners serve three-year terms beginning July 1.

• Admissions and student aid: Linda Dudjak, nursing; Sanjeev Shroff, engineering; Janice Vance, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS).

• Anti-discriminatory policies: Ellen Ansell, education; Claude Mauk, arts and sciences (A&S) (linguistics); Bruce Venarde, A&S (history).

• Athletics: Toby Chapman, A&S (chemistry); Nancy Glynn, Graduate School of Public Health (GSPH); Carma Sprowls Repcheck, education.

• Benefits and welfare: Roger Flynn, information sciences; Sandra Founds, nursing; Eleanor Schwarz, medicine.

• Budget policies: John Baker, dental medicine; Ronald Neufeld, engineering; Linda Rinaman, A&S (neuroscience).

• Bylaws and procedures: Vernon Gay, medicine; Scott Nelson, A&S (chemistry); Kurt Summersgill, dental medicine.

• Commonwealth relations: Bob Boudreau, GSPH; Denise Chisholm, SHRS; Mark Strauss, A&S (psychology).

• Community relations: Linda Hartman, Health Sciences Library System (HSLS); Lovie Jackson, social work; Andrea Kriska, GSPH.
