Pitt-Kennywood Day canceled
The annual Pitt-Kennywood Day will not be held this summer, though discounted tickets to the park will be available.
Staff Association Council President Deborah Walker reported at the May 9 Senate Council meeting that due to budget constraints, SAC is suspending the annual Pitt-Kennywood Day, a summer tradition since 1982. However, discounted tickets for Kennywood are available for purchase with a Pitt ID at the William Pitt Union ticket office.
As an alternative, SAC is planning a Pitt Staff Appreciation Day, with details forthcoming, Walker said.
