March 12 forum to focus on Fort Pitt bridge project
Pitt's Parking, Transportation and Services is sponsoring an information forum on the impact of the upcoming Fort Pitt Bridge and Tunnel construction project.
The session will be held March 12, noon – 1 p.m., in the William Pitt Union Assembly Room.
Officials from PennDOT and the Port Authority will field questions on the project.
PennDOT plans to close the bridge and tunnel outbound from April to August this year, and the inbound route from April to August 2003. Lane restrictions and closures in the area also are anticipated.
