Correction

In the Jan. 10 University Times, the TIAA-CREF supplemental retirement plan and accelerated option were described incorrectly.

Supplemental plans are open to all full- and part-time faculty and staff. The accelerated option, open to those who are age 52-64 and fully vested, provides a higher match of 14.5 percent from Pitt on the employee’s 8 percent contribution for a limited amount of time (ending after 10 years or at age 65, whichever comes first).
