McConnell-Serio new women’s hoops coach
Suzie McConnell-Serio has been named head coach of Pitt’s women’s basketball team.
A member of the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, she was head coach at Duquesne University. She coached and played in the Women’s National Basketball Association and was point guard on two Olympic medal-winning U.S. basketball teams.
