Carnegie Mellon University President Subra Suresh, former director of the National Science Foundation, delivered the annual Provost Lecture as part of Pitt’s Science 2013 symposium.

He addressed a crowd of about 100 people in Alumni Hall in his Oct. 3 lecture, “The New Era of Global Research and Education.”
