Oakland Floral Gateway Project Wednesday, June 7, 5:30-8 pm The Oakland Floral Gateway created by Pitt volunteers during the 1999 Day of Caring needs to be replanted.

Pittsburgh AIDS Walk Sunday, June 11, 7:30-10 am This project supports a broad range of AIDS education and service organizations. Volunteers will work as a team in Oakland staffing registration.

Global Links Medical Supplies Tuesday, June 20, 5:30-7:30 pm Volunteers will be working at the Bloomfield office of Global Links, an international aid organization that collects and repackages surplus medical supplies for distribution to needy countries worldwide.

Shepherd Wellness Dinner Set-Up Thursday, June 22, 7-9 pm and Shepherd Wellness Dinner Friday, June 23, 5:30-9 pm The Shepherd Wellness Community, a project of the Church of the Good Shepherd, is a diverse group of people affected by HIV and AIDS. A mainstay of their activities is the twice-monthly dinner at a Shadyside church. The Pitt Volunteer Pool is sponsoring and staffing the set-up on Thursday and the dinner on Friday.
