Reception for retired University employees scheduled
The Masonic Temple Ballroom will be the site of Pitt's annual faculty and staff retirees reception on June 28, from 1 to 4 p.m.
For $5 per person, retired employees and guests can enjoy refreshments and renew acquaintances. Chancellor Mark Nordenberg is expected to attend the event.
More than 400 people, including Pitt retirees, their spouses or significant others, and spouses of deceased retirees have signed up for the reception, according to planning committee member Mary Bonach.
Free parking is available at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial garage for those who register for the event. Pre-registration is advised.
