To the members of the University community:

The Search Committee for the Senior Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences and Dean of the School of Medicine, a combined position, has been charged by the chancellor and has begun its work. To allow all members of the University to contribute to this very important search, two open hearings have been scheduled. The first open hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 11, 3-5 p.m. in 1103 Scaife Hall. The second open hearing will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in 2P56 Forbes Quadrangle.

In addition, the committee would be grateful if you would send us names, addresses, and basic biographical information for any individuals you believe might be worthy candidates for this important position. This information can be sent to me at the Search Committee's Office, 132 Cathedral of Learning.
