"About half of the low-income people in the county live in families with children: 31 percent live in [families made up of] married couples with children, and another 20 percent live in single parent families. Half of all low-income people are already working (22 percent work full-time, full-year) and another 9 percent are prevented from working due to a long-term physical or mental health problem.
