* Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner

Monday, February 23, 5:30-9:30 pm

Here is a chance to both help with an event and be recognized for your efforts, all in the same evening. The Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force is hosting its annual volunteer recognition dinner on campus.

* Hill House Newsletter Mailing

Thursday, March 5, 5:30-7:30 pm

Volunteers will assist Hill House, the Hill District’s multi-purpose social service agency, in putting out its monthly newsletter.

* Food Bank Food Repackaging

Saturday, March 7, 9 am-1 pm

Pitt volunteers will be working to outdo themselves with the tons of food that they will be repackaging at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s McKeesport warehouse.

* St. Patrick’s Day,

Downtown Saturday, March 14, 9 am-5 pm

Volunteers are needed to staff the Shamrock Shuttle and a variety of entertainment and food areas.

* Children’s Museum Orientation

Wednesday, March 18, noon-1 pm

Pitt volunteers have been a part of the annual summer Pittsburgh Children’s Festival, sponsored by the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum. Learn more at this on-campus orientation.

* Empty Bowls Dinner

Sunday, March 29, 3-5:30 pm or 5:30-8 pm

The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank is sponsoring the third annual Empty Bowls Dinner at Reizenstein School. Volunteers are needed to help sell hand-made ceramic bowls and serve soups prepared by Pittsburgh’s finest restaurants.
