Chancellor, faculty member inducted into Phi Beta Kappa
Chancellor Mark Nordenberg and faculty member Allison Stones were initiated into the Phi Beta Kappa (PBK) honor society on April 5.
Nordenberg was chosen on the basis of his scholarly accomplishments in the law, his community service and his achievements in academic administration. Provost James V. Maher presented Nordenberg. Stones, a faculty member in history of art and architecture, was cited for her outstanding scholarship in medieval illustrated manuscripts and for pioneering efforts in the use of the Internet and the World Wide Web for instruction in art and architectural history.
Forty-six College of Arts and Sciences students also were initiated at the ceremony.
