Besides recommending a 3 percent increase in faculty and staff compensation for the fiscal year that begins July 1, the University Planning and Budgeting Committee (UPBC) has proposed 4 percent increases in tuition and financial aid for next fall. UPBC unanimously approved those budget parameters and others at a closed-door meeting May 4. Meeting minutes are on page 6.
