Salary update

According to a chancellor’s update issued Dec. 9, Pitt will include one-time mid-year payments in December pay checks. Those making $45,000 or less will receive a payment equal to 1.25 percent of their annual salary. Those earning more than $45,000 will receive a payment equal to 1 percent of their annual pay.

Those covered by collective bargaining agreements are not eligible for this payment.

Once the budget is approved, the normal salary increase process will proceed, but increases, when they are approved, will not be retroactive.
