Carpool sale runs through Sept. 16

With Pitt parking permit rates going up, the Department of Parking and Transportation is holding a "carpool sale" through Sept. 16.

Anyone who forms a carpool, joins a carpool and registers the carpool by that date is eligible to receive the $5 per passenger discount on the old parking rate. After that date, the carpool rate will be calculated by deducting the $5 per passenger discount from the new parking rate.
