To the editor:

I would like to thank you for the “Post-election Thoughts” in the Nov. 23 issue of the University Times. It is good to know that other like-minded colleagues and neighbors are concerned but committed to making progress despite the imminent obstacles. I am grateful for Pitt’s atmosphere of intellectual engagement as demonstrated so well in the University Times newspaper.
