Student fees to increase

Certain student fees are expected to rise beginning in the fall.

The Board of Trustees student affairs committee last month endorsed a $20 increase in the student computing network and services fee at all campuses, bringing it to $150 per term for full-time students. Part-time students would pay $75 per term, an increase of $10.

The committee also recommended increasing the Pittsburgh campus security, safety and transportation fee by $15 to $90 per term for full- and part-time students.

Full-time students at the Bradford campus would see a $10 increase to $85 per term in their student activities fee.

The full board is expected to approve the fees June 23.
