Toys for Tots drive launched

The College of General Studies Student Government is launching its second annual University-wide drive to collect toys for underprivileged children.

Kick off for the drive will be Dec. 4 at the CGS Children's Holiday Party. Children attending the party will make donations to the CGS toy collection drive.

New, unwrapped toys, games and other gifts suitable for children from infants through teenagers are being collected for distribution by the U.S. Marines. Cash contributions can be made instead by sending a check, payable to USMC Toys for Tots Drive, to 615 WPU.

The campaign will run through Wednesday, Dec. 14. Bins for the collection of toys will be placed in the following campus locations Dec. 5-14: William Pitt Union lobby and Room 615; Cathedral of Learning 4th floor and Roy Rogers on the ground floor; 4th floor entrance of Scaife; Benedum lobby; Parran lobby; Forbes Quad near 1D10 (Parking office); main entrance of Clapp; law school; dental school, and Trees Hall.
