ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, INTERNATIONAL & PUBLIC AFFAIRS, GSPIA Requirements: Expertise in security issues beyond classic applications of military power; areas of focus include innovative approaches to analysis of human security, intelligence analysis, transnational threats; specific areas might include: genocide, political economy of armed conflicts, security/development, illicit economies/crime, environmental security, resources conflicts, health, terrorism, human trafficking, refugees, forced migration. Duties: Teach introductory/advanced security courses; for associate professor, must have record of distinguished scholarship in some area of security studies; professional experience in government, research institutes, foundations, or related institutions a plus. 2 ASSISTANT PROFESSORS, Social Work Requirements: MSW; PhD or equivalent; ability to teach, generate grants, conduct research; prefer 2 years’ post-MSW practice experience. Duties: Conduct research/teach in one or more of the following areas: gerontology, mental health, health of children/families, social administration.
