Katz MBA ranked 11th in WSJ survey

The M.B.A. program at Pitt’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business ranked 11th worldwide among public institutions rated in a survey of corporate recruiters published last week in The Wall Street Journal/Harris Interactive “Top Business Schools” Report. In the report, the Katz School also ranked first among public business schools in Pennsylvania.

Overall, in the report’s worldwide ranking of M.B.A. programs at public and private institutions, the Katz School ranked 33rd.

In the report’s cover story, “A New Winner,” Journal news editor Ronald Alsop wrote that the Katz School “placed highest among the schools making their debut in The Wall Street Journal ranking.” Alsop noted that “Pitt is popular with some recruiters because of its fast-track one-year M.B.A. degree.”
