Mileage allowance 30 cents/mile
Effective Jan. 1, Pitt employees are to be reimbursed at the rate of 30 cents per mile when they use their own cars for University business.
The change came when the Internal Revenue Service increased the standard mileage allowance from 29 cents to 30 cents per mile for business use of personal automobiles, according to a Jan. 9 memorandum from Controller William G. Laird.
