UPG named as granting institution for scholarship
The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg (UPG) has been designated by the Eberly Foundation as a granting institution for the Eberly Scholarship, with an endowment of $250,000 for 1995.
The Eberly Foundation was established is 1963 by the late Orville Eberly. Criteria for the scholarship includes superior academic achievement, good moral character and financial need, with primary preference given to residents of Fayette County.
The UPG scholarship committee selects students for the awards, which are then conferred by the president of the campus.
