Nancy Barber Davis

Nancy Barber Davis, a staff member in the Office of Computing and Information Services (CIS), died suddenly of coronary disease on July 2, 1995.

A resident of Swissvale, Davis had provided administrative support for the PC Center and Office System Services since joining the University staff in 1990.

"She was a key person in organizing the truckload computer sale that we have every year," said Jinx Walton, director of CIS's Information and Office Services. "She really contributed to that. She also was very visible at the PC Center. A lot of people knew her." Davis is survived by her husband, Dave; three sons, Thomas, Nicholas and Richard; three grandchildren; her mother, Alberta; a brother, Richard Barber, and a sister, Patti Barber Ventrone.

She was buried yesterday, July 5, in a private ceremony.
