Nationality Rooms tradition

Laura Fleischer, a Quo Vadis volunteer guide, greeted visitors to the Cathedral of Learning's Lithuanian Nationality Room during the Nationality Rooms Holiday Open House, Dec. 6. Guests saw a variety of ethnic holiday traditions, including a Chinese lion dance, a Japanese tea ceremony and entertainment of Poland, Greece and the Philippines, among other countries represented by the 24 Nationality Rooms. Tours of the rooms, decorated in traditional holiday styles, will continue throughout the holiday season. However, the rooms will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1. For more information, call the Nationality Rooms Program at 624-6000.
