University Press Book Wins Award

A University of Pittsburgh Press publication, “Long for This World: New and Selected Poems” by Ronald Wallace, has won the 2004 Posner Award for book-length poetry by a Wisconsin author, given by the Council for Wisconsin Writers.
Wallace is the Felix Pollak Professor of Poetry and codirector of the creative writing program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also serves as the general editor for the University of Wisconsi Press poetry series.
“Long for This World” is part of the University Press’s Pitt Poetry Series. The Press has published four of Wallace’s previous poetry collections.
