In Brief: Total Rewards Project Will Begin Final Three Data Collection Phases in January

Data collection for phases four, five and six of the job analyses for the Total Rewards study — encompassing business operations and athletics, the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of the Provost, among other parts of the University community — closed at the end of October. The departments and centers that participated in the phase achieved a response rate of 91 percent.

Phases seven, eight, and nine will begin in January 2018 and include areas under Health Sciences.

Total Rewards is a wide-ranging program that involves evaluation of base pay, benefits, professional development, work-life balance and recognition. The Total Rewards study launched in January 2017 and development is expected to span through 2018.

More information about the Total Rewards program is available on its website, including the frequently asked questions page (employee login required). Employees can opt in for updates sent directly via email or text message. The Office of Human Resources’ Q&A column in the June 8 issue of the University Times featured answers to the most-asked questions about the project and job analysis questionnaires.
