In Brief: Call for Proposals for Provost’s Personalized Education Grants, Campus Recreation and Fitness Survey

Provost’s Personalized Education Grant Program

The Office of the Provost is inviting proposals from faculty, staff and students for projects that enhance personalized education for Pitt students. Applications are due Jan. 8, 2018.

Personalized education is defined as enhancing learning through tailored engagement in educational activities that reflect each student’s unique identities, experiences, interests, abilities and aspirations.

Developing more student-centered approaches to education is critical to enhancing the competitiveness of the University in recruiting a diverse population of talented students. Pitt faculty and staff have deep expertise and long experience in education, learning science, advising and mentoring; Pitt students also may have ideas about how best to personalize the Pitt experience.

Funding can range from less than $10,000 for small-scale projects that can be completed in less than one year but are likely to lead to larger, scalable projects to more than $10,000 for larger-scale, longer-term projects.

For more information about application requirements (including formatting proposals and eligibility), visit the Personalized Education website.
