Pitt open house Sept. 12

Pitt will hold an open house on Saturday, Sept. 12, for anyone interested in hearing about its 10-year building plan. The open house will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Commons Room, Cathedral of Learning.

Representatives from Housing, Athletics, Facilities Management, Parking and Transportation, Public Safety and Community Relations will participate. Additionally, information will be provided on a number of University programs and activities available to Oakland residents.

Robert Pack, vice provost for academic planning and resources management, said: "This open house will provide an opportunity for individuals to see and learn about for themselves the positive renovations and new construction undertaken to prepare Pitt to meet the needs of its students and community well into the next century."
