Faculty urged to consider UCSUR position

To the University community:

We would like to apprise the University of Pittsburgh community of the exceptional opportunity that is present for the new director of the University Center for Social and Urban Research (UCSUR).

This interdisciplinary center facilitates applied collaborations among faculty and between the University community and professionals in the region. The center has had a distinguished record over the past 25 years. A new director is now being sought with the leadership and vision to enact a strategy and program that will extend UCSUR's reputation to new heights, forge lasting internal and external alliances, and capitalize on the rich intellectual resources available throughout the University community.

The committee welcomes creative and innovative faculty to consider this exciting opportunity for developing UCSUR into the 21st century as well as an advantageous circumstance for personal challenge and accomplishment.
