Town Hall Meetings Announced for Provost Search

Faculty and staff of the University of Pittsburgh are invited to attend one of two town hall meetings meant to gather feedback on the University community’s expectations for its next provost. The meetings will be held on Monday, Feb. 5, from 11 a.m. to noon in Lecture Room 5 of Scaife Hall and from 3 to 4 p.m. in the seventh-floor auditorium of Alumni Hall.

The town hall meetings will be led by Rob A. Rutenbar, senior vice chancellor for research and the chair of the provost search committee. Those unable to attend in person will be able to participate through a livestream.

Town hall meetings for the regional campuses are currently being scheduled and will be announced at a later date. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend either of the town hall meetings on Feb. 5 in person or via the livestream.
