Kevin Cecil fundraising efforts continue
Students pledged to Sigma Chi fraternity have dedicated the proceeds from this year's "Derby Days" to help former Pitt student Kevin Cecil, who was paralyzed in a shooting last year.
Sigma Chi hopes to raise $100,000 with its activities, including a concert at The Attic today, Nov. 7.
The Oakland Business and Civic Association is raising funds for Cecil through donation cans placed in local stores. For information on Sigma Chi's drive, call Rob Guigley, 648-2463, or Eric Heintz, 648-2459.
