2nd-class citizenship
To the editor:
I can’t think of a more explicit statement of the subordinate status of teaching at Pitt than the FAS plan section calling for "Hire 25 full-time, non-tenure stream faculty to take on some of the teaching duties currently assigned to tenured/tenure stream faculty." Talk about instant second-class citizenship.
