GSPIA plans new enrollment option

The Graduate School of Public and International Affairs will implement the “2+2” program, a new enrollment option for students in the Master of Public Policy and Management (MPPM) degree program. The program aims to provide current and future public and nonprofit managers with the skills to move between the two sectors as their careers advance.

The new MPPM 2+2 program seeks to develop managerial skills in finance, human resources, fundraising, grant writing, negotiation and conflict resolution, all of which are relevant to a broad range of careers in public and nonprofit management.

The program is a 10-course, 30-credit sequenced curriculum that can be completed in two years of part-time study. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Applications will be accepted through June 1 for the fall 2007 term.
