BPC expects report on faculty salary raises

The final version of a report on faculty pay raises awarded last year is expected to be presented at the University Senate’s budget policies committee (BPC) meeting on May 13.

A preliminary version of “Analysis of Salary Increases, Full-Time Continuing Faculty, FY 2004-2005,” was presented by Robert Pack, vice provost of academic planning and resources management, during BPC’s April 22 meeting.

Although the document is still going through the approval process and has not been finalized, Pack said he presented a preliminary version of the report to the committee as a courtesy in what was supposed to be BPC’s final meeting of the academic year.

Stephen Carr, BPC chair, anticipates that Pack will release the final report at the recently scheduled May 13 meeting.
