Project Bundle-Up Telethon

Saturday, June 18, 11:30 am-2:30 pm, 2-5:30 pm, 5-8:30 pm

Volunteers will be staffing the auction broadcast live from the WTAE-TV studios located just off the Parkway East in Forest Hills. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

Pittsburgh Blues Festival

Friday, July 15, 5-11 pm

Saturday, July 16, 1-6 pm or 6-11 pm

Sunday, July 17, 1-6 pm or 6-10 pm

Be a part of Pittsburgh’s celebration of the Blues and of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s premier fundraiser. Music legend Edgar Winter will join Studebaker John & the Hawks, Elvin Bishop, Nick Moss & the Flip Tops, Shemekia Copeland and Dickey Betts & Great Southern, as well as a host of other top Blues artists at the new Hartwood Acres venue.

Global Links Medical Supplies

Wednesday, July 20, 5:30-7:30 pm

Volunteers will be working at the Bloomfield office of Global Links, an international aid organization that collects and repackages surplus medical supplies for distribution worldwide.

Down on the Farm With the Food Bank

Saturday, July 30, 9 am-noon

Volunteers are needed at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s farm just 30 minutes from campus. This project is important in supplying fresh vegetables to the needy of the region. Volunteers must be at least 9 years old.
