Civic Action Week brings back in-person volunteering

As part of Civic Action Week, faculty and staff participated in several on-site volunteer activities to help out a variety of community organizations.

The 10 projects on Oct. 8 were with groups such as People’s Oakland, Operation Better Block in Homewood, Family House, and the Oasis Project at Homewood’s Bible Center Church.

Students also participated in volunteer events on Oct. 8 and 9. In total, more than 500 faculty, staff and students were involved in the volunteer projects.
