Nominations now open for Pitt Sustainability Awards

The Pitt Sustainability Awards program — now in its 6th year — recognizes Pitt faculty, staff, students and groups who are making an extraordinary impact on campus sustainability.

The impact could be in any of the three categories of the Pitt Sustainability Plan:  Stewardship, Exploration, and Community and Culture).

There are five nomination categories: Individual awards for faculty member, staff member and student; and initiative awards for a faculty/staff group and for a student or student-led group

Nominations can be submitted until Feb. 28, 2020.

Winners in each of the five categories will be recognized at an awards luncheon on April 17, 2020.  In addition, the top three point earners in the Green Office and Green Lab certification programs will be recognized.
