Open enrollment continues through May 15

Enrollment for health benefits for most Pitt employees will continue through May 15.

Changes to benefits, including a 2.9 percent cost increase, were outlined in a letter to Pitt employees. Find a full outline of health benefits for 2019-20 here.

Those who need to enroll now include:

  • Full-time regular faculty, librarians, research associates, post-doctoral associates

  • Part-time regular, tenured/tenure stream faculty at not less than 50 percent effort

  • Part-time regular librarians designated with expectations of continued employment at not less than 40 percent effort

  • Full-time regular staff

  • Part-time regular staff

Those employees who do not wish to make any changes in their benefits selections do not need to take any actions.

Enrollment for part-time faculty, post-doctoral scholars and other eligible employees will be from May 22 to June 12.

Benefit fairs have wrapped up on the Pittsburgh and Greensburg campus but will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 7 at Johnstown, May 8 at Bradford and May 9 at Titusville. Courtesy computers will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Mondays through Fridays on the third floor of Craig Hall throughout the open enrollment period to enroll in benefits or to make changes to current elections. A benefits representative will be available to assist with enrolling and to answer any questions you may have.
