Sen. Casey to discuss disability policy at Thornburgh lecture

The annual Thornburgh Family Lecture Series on Disability Law & Policy will features U.S. Sen. Bob Casey discussing “Disability Policy: Beyond the Pandemic.”

The pandemic revealed many shortcomings of support for families, communities, businesses and all aspects of U.S. society. The effects of COVID-19 on members of the disability community were devastating. The experience, however, created a clear path to build a strong, more resilient support network for people with disabilities, their families, and services that support them.

The virtual event, sponsored by the Dick Thornburgh Forum for Law & Public Policy, will take place at 7 p.m. Sept. 13. Register now using this link.
