The annual Hoopla! women’s professional networking event will take place when the Pittsburgh Panthers women’s basketball team squares off against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Jan. 30.

Hoopla!, an annual event that promotes networking and highlights Pitt’s female leaders, starts at 5 p.m. with a reception at the Petersen Events Center followed by the game at 7 p.m.

Participants can expect a tour of the team facilities, a courtside suite reception before the game and a panel session with Pitt leaders including Director of Athletics Heather Lyke, Senior Vice Chancellor for Engagement Kathy Humphrey and University Registrar Patti Mathay. 

The event is a coordinated effort by the Pitt Women affinity group, Pitt Athletics, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the 2020 Host Committee and Pitt Women’s Basketball. 

Admission to the event is free with a Pitt or UPMC ID and $5 for other visitors. Participants are encouraged to RSVP online here by Jan. 28.
