Staff recognition ceremony for this year postponed

The annual Staff Recognition Ceremony, which is normally held in December, is being postponed until 2021, according to Human Resources, because of the restrictions placed on large gatherings during the pandemic.

The ceremony honors Pitt’s longtime employees who are hitting milestone years. Those with 20, 30, 40 and 50 years of service or more are invited to the ceremony. Human Resources also recognizes employees with five and 10 years of service. The University Times annually publishes the list of all those being recognized and will do so again when the list is provided by Human Resources.

The community will be informed once a date is selected to recognize our 2020 honorees, either virtually or in-person, depending on the University’s operating postures
