Summer session planned for instructor-led tech workshops for staff

For the first time in recent years, Pitt Information Technology will offer some popular instructor-led technology workshops during the summer, when staff members might have more time to fit the training into their schedules.

Create Your Own Online Surveys: An Introduction to Qualtrics: Learn how to create a customer satisfaction survey in this hands-on workshop designed for those with little to no experience. Topics include question types, blocks, distribution options, reporting and more. 9-11 a.m. July 31 or 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Aug. 5

Gather eSignatures and Manage Document Workflow: DocuSign Basics: Learn how to electronically send, sign, and manage documents using the University's Digital Signature Service (DocuSign). 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. July 29 or 9-11 a.m. Aug. 14

In addition, one completely new class will be offered.

Do More with Online Surveys: Advanced Qualtrics: Participants in this hands-on session will use Qualtrics to create a meeting registration survey. Topics include question validation, display logic, email triggers, contact list triggers, quotas, survey flow, and more. 9-11 a.m. Aug. 7 or 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Aug. 12.

All classes take place in Bellefield Hall. Registration is free and open to all Pitt faculty and staff. Register at pi.tt/summer19. Human Resources also has agreed to count participation as an elective credit for those interested in the Administrative Professional Certificate Program.
