Mathematics Professor Ivan Yotov receives Humboldt Research Award

Ivan Yotov, professor in Pitt's Department of Mathematics, has received the Humboldt Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Germany.

The Humboldt Research Award is conferred to internationally recognized researchers in recognition of their entire academic record to date.

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation sponsors distinguished international scientists and scholars regardless of their academic discipline or nationality and maintains an international network of academic cooperation and trust.
