AD search firm picked
The University has selected Chicago-based search firm DHR International to lead its search for a new athletic director.
Randy P. Juhl, who was named interim AD and chair of the AD search committee following the dismissal of AD Steve Pederson in mid-December, said Glenn T. Sugiyama, a DHR executive vice president and its sports practice group leader, will be working with the Pitt committee.
Juhl said the search committee would be made up of approximately 15 people, including faculty representatives, coaches, athletics staff, trustees and student-athletes. (See Jan. 22 University Times.)
Committee members have been named, but Pitt administrators told the University Times that the full roster would not be released until late this week.
