Input sought on plenary session

envelopeDear colleagues:
The University Senate is currently in the process of planning its plenary session for the spring of 2016. The topic will be academic freedom. Academic freedom is a topic many faculty members feel strongly about and there is a perception in many circles that it is under threat. At this early stage, the planning committee is looking for feedback from the University community.

Please take a moment to share your thoughts on academic freedom and the upcoming plenary session by going to the University Senate website: www.univsenate.pitt.edu/.

If you scroll down, you will see three short open-ended questions.

Thank you for your participation.

Seth Michael Weinberg

Chair, Senate plenary session planning committee
