Total Rewards Study Earns High Participation Rates, Moves into Fourth Phase

Data collection for the third phase of the job analyses for the Total Rewards study has ended. This phase, known as the Green Phase, encompassed Computing Services & Systems Development and the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, among other parts of the Pitt community including regional campuses. The third phase achieved a participant response rate of 93 percent.

The fourth phase will begin in early October and include areas under business and operations and athletics.

The Total Rewards study is a wide-ranging program that involves evaluation of base pay, benefits, professional development, work-life balance and recognition. The Total Rewards study launched in January 2017 and development is expected to span through 2018.

More information about the Total Rewards program is available on its website, including the frequently asked questions page (employee login required). Employees can opt in for updates sent directly via email or text message. The Office of Human Resources’ Q&A column in the June 8 issue of the University Times featured answers to the most-asked questions about the project and job analysis questionnaires.
