Readers of the Johnstown-based Tribune-Democrat last month named Pitt's Johnstown campus as "simply the best college," an annual selection campaign of regional "best-ofs" designed to foster community spirit. It is the sixth time and fourth straight year that Pitt-Johnstown has won the award in the 10 years it has been given.

Pitt, FBI offer reward in anthrax hoax case >

Pitt United Way campaign begins >

Pitt's 2001 United Way campaign kicked off Oct. 10, with the goal of collecting $675,000 by the conclusion of the campaign, Nov. 21. This year's campaign theme is "Make Your Mark."
